Video editor

The video editor built for ads

Edit any ad you make right where you made it. Swap the hook, retype the text, change the music or the voice, trim it on a timeline, and export every size for Meta and TikTok.

Everything an ad edit needs

Swap clips and hooks

Replace any scene or the opening hook, and retype the hook text, without rebuilding the ad.

Captions

Burn in captions, edit the words and change the style so they read on mute.

Stickers and overlays

Drop in offer stickers, badges and text overlays for a sale or a launch.

Music

Swap the track in a click if the first one does not fit.

Voiceover

Change the voice or the script and render the new read.

Timeline and sizes

Trim on a timeline, then export 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 for Reels, Stories and feed.

A general editor is the better choice for long-form video, vlogs and anything that is not an ad.

When to use it, and when not to

Use it to change an ad you have already made: a new hook for a test, a sale sticker for Black Friday, a different voice for another market, or a shorter cut for Stories. The edit starts from a finished ad, so a change takes minutes, not an afternoon.

CapCut and Clipchamp are excellent general editors with far more effects and templates. If you are cutting a vlog, a long YouTube video or a presentation, use one of them. If you are making and testing ads, it is faster to edit where the ad was made.

Questions, answered.

Do I need editing experience?

No. Every edit is a single step: swap a clip, retype a line, pick a new track.

Can I edit ads I made elsewhere?

Upload the clips and rebuild the ad with Instant ads, then edit it here.

Which sizes can I export?

9:16 for Reels and Stories, 4:5 for feed, and 1:1, from the same edit.

Is it a CapCut or Clipchamp alternative?

For ads, yes. For general video editing, they do more.
