Tracking you can trust before you spend more
Every ad platform learns from the sales you report back. If half of them go missing, the algorithm optimises toward the wrong people. We set up and check your tracking with each platform's own tools, so the numbers in your ad accounts match the orders in your store.
Why browser pixels are not enough
Browser pixels lose data. Ad blockers, privacy settings, short cookie lives and in-app browsers all drop events. A store can make plenty of sales and see far fewer reported in Meta or TikTok.
Server-side tracking fixes much of this. Your store or a server container sends the purchase directly to the platform, alongside the browser pixel, with a shared event ID so it is only counted once. Each platform offers its own way to do it: Meta's Conversions API, TikTok's Events API, Google's enhanced conversions and server-side Google Tag Manager.
We do not sell a pixel of our own. We set up the ones the platforms already provide, through your store's native integrations or Google Tag Manager, and check that they agree.
What we set up and check
Meta Conversions API
Through Shopify's Facebook and Instagram channel, a partner integration, or a server container, with event match quality checked in Events Manager.
TikTok Events API
Connected alongside the TikTok pixel and deduplicated, so purchases are not counted twice.
Google enhanced conversions
Purchase values and hashed customer data sent so Google Ads bidding sees more real orders.
Server-side tagging
A server-side Google Tag Manager container where it is worth the cost and upkeep.
UTM naming
One UTM pattern across every channel and ad, so GA4 and your store reports line up with ad results.
Microsoft UET
UET tag and purchase goal checked, so Microsoft's bidding has real data too.
A word on attribution
No tracking setup gives you perfect attribution. Every platform counts its own clicks and views generously. We do not promise one true number. We compare platform results with store revenue, look at blended figures like MER, and run simple holdout or on-off tests when a channel's real value is in doubt.
- Platform-reported results, for day-to-day decisions inside each channel
- Store revenue and MER, for the overall budget
- Tests, for the big questions about whether a channel adds sales at all
Questions, answered.
Is this a separate tracking product?
No. It is setup work in your accounts using Meta, TikTok, Google and Microsoft's own tracking tools, plus your store's integrations.
Do I need server-side Google Tag Manager?
Not always. Many Shopify stores get most of the benefit from native integrations. We recommend a server container only when it is clearly worth it.
Can you just audit our tracking?
Yes. Tracking is part of every free ad audit. We will tell you what is missing even if you never hire us.
